John McGarvey is Partner / Telecommunications Division of McGriff Insurance Services. During his 12-year career, he has worked exclusively on providing risk management and insurance solutions to the construction industry all while achieving the Construction Risk Insurance Specialist designation, as well as, his Certified Workers’ Compensation Professional designation. For the past several years, John has focused his efforts on developing the Telecommunications Division for McGriff Insurance Services. National in scope, the telecom group aims to assist wireless infrastructure companies by reducing risk and improving costs. John is a 2001 graduate of the University of Mississippi, where he received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Banking & Finance. During his time at Ole Miss, John was a 4-year member of the varsity football team, playing offensive line and earning two letters
Pekka Jaske is an End-To-End Solutions Lead for T-Mobile at Nokia. In this role, Pekka is responsible not only for Nokia’s existing e2e solution portfolio but also defining new solutions for specific customer needs, 5G technology and use cases naturally being a key focus area right now. Pekka has 25 years of experience in product development and management, technology management and building e2e solutions in the wireless industry, and has worked with all major wireless service providers in the U.S. He has a proven track record in introducing new technologies and developing solutions for the wireless telecommunications market.
Jeremy Sharit has been in the telecom industry since 2003, when he started at Hill Engineering. After a 5-year tenure, Jeremy went to work for SMW Engineering, where he currently is Vice President and Chief Engineer. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama, holds Professional Licenses in 19 states and has civil design engineering and construction experience on residential, commercial and institutional projects. Jeremy has worked with many carriers and tower companies and is exemplary in cell tower site design and preparation.
Bringing over 28 years of RF experience, Bill Stringer has consulted and trained thousands of individuals on RAN performance and optimization. He has been a featured expert at leading service providers, as well as equipment and tool vendors, helping individuals and organizations prepare for new technology rollouts. While serving in the U.S. Navy, he also offered consulting and training to both military and DoD personnel at the National Cryptologic School at Ft. Meade, MD. Bill’s expertise spans technologies impacting wireless such as LTE, VoLTE, HSPA, and UMTS, and specializes in RF Performance. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston and a Master of Science from Johns Hopkins University.
